HUDSON POUCH (new pdf pattern)

Hello lovely makers,

how are you all doing? Did you have a good summer?

Ours was super busy as we got to travel quite a bit and spend time with family, which was absolutely wonderful.

It wasn’t all travel, of course. I’ve also been working on a few new projects over the last few months and I’m excited to introduce my newest pattern - Hudson Pouch, just in time for some back to school sewing :)

As you can see, the pouch comes in FOUR different sizes, and you can choose from two designs (either a one fabric quilted pouch or use two contrasting fabrics). Definitely lots of options with this cutie :).

What do you think about the side handle? I quite like this little addition to the pouch.

I used standard #3 nylon zippers for these pouches and added a fabric tab to each end for a professional finish.

#3 zippers are easy to find at pretty much any craft store (or you can use a zipper by the foot, my favorite ones are from Zipper Valley), they come in an array of colors, they are super easy to cut to just the right size, and you can sew over the coils of these zippers without causing any damage to your machine.

What do you say? Would you like to make some Hudson Pouches of your own?

The pattern comes both in imperial (inches) and metric (centimeters) measurements for your convenience. Here's some additional info for you, check out my Etsy listing for all the measurements in cm.

You can get this pattern at a 25% OFF INTRODUCTORY PRICE now through Saturday, Aug. 27 (midninght CEST).

Happy sewing, friends!

Wishing you all a relaxed and creative rest of the day. Svetlana
